Lamborghini New Electric Hybrid – Sián

At Frankfurt Motorshow 2019,Lamborghini previewed its hyper-performance vehicle – Sián , (Bolognese term ‘a flash of lightning’) a hybrid-electric V12 that is the fastest and most powerful version.

The Sián has included a 48-volt motor to the gearbox, providing an extra 34 horsepower to the V12 engine. It does this with a supercapacitor. Lamborghini states it’s “three times much more effective than a battery of the same weight and three times lighter than a battery producing the very same power.”

At 819 horsepower, Sián can reach 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds. Its top speed exceeds 217 miles per hour.

To maximize the result of the electrical motor, it is powered by a supercapacitor instead of the normal lithium-ion battery pack. These cells do not hold a charge as long as a normal battery, yet they butt in swiftly and also in short bursts.

There will not be any type of Sián testcars, because this is a limited-production run of 63 Sián. All of which have currently been reserved. Lamborghini picked that number as it is the year Automobili Lamborghini was founded. All Sián will also be one-of-a-kind, made to the buyer’s preferences in assessment with Lamborghini’s personalization program.

Lamborghini has openly mentioned its intent to apply hybrid-electric aid to its renowned naturally aspirated V12 engines instead of turbocharging them in pursuit of enhanced performance.
